Getting started with the Secure Seal

The seals may feel firmer than disposable plastic bags when new. This is intentional and helps create a secure closure. They generally become easier to open and handle with regular use.

Three-finger opening technique:

• Place your thumb and middle finger on the outside of the seal and pinch inward.
• Place your index finger inside the opening and pull outward at the same time.
• The seal should release without excessive force.

• Use mild detergent and low-heat dishwasher cycles for best long-term performance.
• Microwave silicone bags only while open and unsealed.
• Avoid sharp objects that may damage the silicone.
• Hand wash or use a cold gentle wash for cotton bags.
• Air dry all items completely before storage.
