Getting started with the Secure Seal

The seal may feel firmer than a disposable plastic bag when new. This is intentional and helps create a secure closure. It generally becomes easier to open and handle with regular use.

Three-finger opening technique:

• Place your thumb and middle finger on the outside of the seal and pinch inward.
• Place your index finger inside the opening and pull outward at the same time.
• The seal should release without excessive force.

Cleaning and drying

• Wash before first use.
• Dishwasher safe — place upside down over top-rack prongs to help keep the bag open.
• Use mild detergent and low-heat cycles for best long-term performance.
• For faster air drying, place upside down over four dish-rack prongs to maximise airflow.
• Allow the inside to dry completely before storage.
